Exercise 7

The graph describes changes in the number of cars owned in the UKs during a
period of 30 years starting from 1975. to 2005.
The initial impression from the chart is that people owning 2 cars and 3 or more
cars, enjoyed upswings white while the opposite pattern was true for people
without a car and 1 car. It is also evident that the number of people who owned 1
car was dominantly higher than the others over the period given with people
without a car undergoing the most dramatic change
In 1975, the number of people who had no car started at 30%. After that, this figure
went down to 25% in 1983, but later dropped to 18% over the next 22 years.
Similarly, the quantity of people owning 1 car began at around 43% in 1975, after
which the figure had decreased to just under 40% 38% in 1985, but later rose
gradually to over 40% 41% and remained unchanged in 2005. at the end of the
period.
In the meantime, throughout the years, the number of people who owned 2 cars
had increased from about 7% in 1975 and hit a high of 16% in 2005. The figure for
people owning 3 or more cars, it started at a relatively low position of only 3%, but
later it rose slightly to 7% in 2005.
