DEUTERONOMY 24
Deuteronomy 24:16

In this particular verse, it is a reminder to us that whatever the

consequence of our actions, whether it is good or bad, we are the
ones to bear them. It is our own responsibility, and we are
accountable for our own lives. Neither our parents nor others will
face the consequences of our sins.

Life is a matter of choice, and every choice and decision we make is

our responsibility. We have to face death for our sins, but because
of the unconditional love of God, He saved us. But then, it is our
choice if we are going to accept Him and surrender our lives to Him.
No one can choose or decide for you. Others might help you, but
the decisions are still yours. Hence, always seek the Lord, and He
will guide you in choosing and walking the right path.

Lord, thank you for saving me and for reminding me that I am

accountable for my own life and that I still have my own will and
am able to make choices. May you continue to help me and
guide me so that I can walk in your ways and not mine. In Jesus’
Name. Amen.
