Title : Employee relation activities to Celebrate Independence Day of

the Republic of Indonesia 17th August 2023.

Objective : To seek approval from Group Managing Director of Cahya Mata

Sarawak Berhad as per GLOA Section 7.15 “Staff Welfare/
Employee Relations Activities”, for unbudgeted employee
activities of PT Scomi Oiltools to celebrate the independence day
of the Republic of Indonesia on 17th August 2023, with the total
cost amounting to IDR24,045,000 (equivalent to MYR7,238 or
USD1,583).

1. OBJECTIVE

To seek approval from Group Managing Director of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad as per
GLOA Section 7.15 “Staff Welfare/ Employee Relations Activities” for unbudgeted
employee relation activities of PT Scomi Oiltools (“PTSO”) to celebrate the Independence
day of the Republic of Indonesia on 17th August 2023, at the cost amounting to IDR9,400,000
(equivalent to RM2,830 or USD620) for Jakarta Office and IDR14,645,000 (equivalent to
MYR4,408 or USD963) for Balikpapan Office. The total costs for these two locations are
MYR 7,238.00.

2. BACKGROUND

PTSO and its employees annually celebrate the independence day of the Republic of
Indonesia falls on 17th August. In line with this tradition, PTSO intends to organize an
independence’s day participation and competition event for its employees to commemorate
this significant day of the Indonesian nation.

The event aims to showcase the Company’s active participation and contribution in
celebrating the national occasion, and it may also gain appreciation from local community
and government.

3. JUSTIFICATION

The estimated cost for the event which includes games, competition, meals and a T shirt for
35 participants at Jakarta Office and 50 participants at Balikpapan Office is as below:

4. Recommendation

Group Managing Director is requested to approve as per GLOA Section 7.15 for employee
relation activities of PT Scomi Oiltools (“PTSO”) to celebrate the independence day of the
Republic of Indonesia on 17th August 2023, at the total cost amounting to IDR24,045,000
(equivalent to MYR7,238 or USD1,583).
