Management Inventory.
Because the type of information about management
personnel that may be required sometimes differs from that
for nonmanagerial employees, some organizations
maintain a separate management inventory.
In addition to biographical data, a management inventory
often contains brief assessments of the manager’s
❖ past performance,
❖ strengths,
❖ weaknesses, and
❖ potential for advancement.
In essence, a management inventory is a specialized type
of skills inventory just for management.
