ACTIVITY DESIGN

I. RATIONALE

Given this immense responsibility in settling disputes in our community and

considering the numerous concerns raised by the Punong Barangay and Barangay
Secretary of Barangay Calaran, Misamis Occidental in accurately handling different
disputes brought to the barangay by their constituents, it is therefore imperative
that a capacity development intervention for Katarungang Pambarangay Law be
conducted. This activity will enable both the new and old members of the Lupon to
familiarize themselves with the intricacies of the Revised Katarungang Pambarangay Law.

Hence, this design.

II. OBJECTIVE

To be able to equip the Lupon Members with the necessary knowledge, skills and
attitude in the administration of Barangay Justice System or the Katarungang Pambarangay
Law.

III. PARTICIPANTS

The training shall be participated by the Punong Barangay, Barangay Secretary,

Lupon Members, MLGOO and DILG Staff.

IV. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

Expenses to be incurred for the conduct of the activity shall be charged from the Katarungang
Pambarangay Funds with a total amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos Only
(P1,500.00).
