1. Objective

This guideline escalates with the aim of:

1. Introduce standard procedure for color matching of both yarn & fabric manufacturing.
2. Emphasis the responsibility of different parties engaged in the process.
3. Specify the timelines to be adhered to throughout the both manufacturing process.

2. Responsibilities

1. Recipe confirmation from lab to operation.

Procedure Responsibility Timelines

3.1. Planning should provide dye plan with the batch card Manger, Before 3pm
for next 3 days. Planning

3.2. Need to check 1st bulk approval & fiber lot availability
for recipe confirmation.
Dyeing, Within 8 hours

3.3. Do the pre-treatment then need to send it lab for
rematching.

3.4. Lab has to match with approved hanger under the delta Manager,
E value of 0.4 & delta H should be same quadrant. LAB
Within 24 hours
3.5. Select the recipe according to delta E value of 0.4 & Recipe
same quadrant of delta H from lab and enter it to taps. Confirmer

3.6. After recipe confirmation batch card need to hand over Recipe Within 24 hours
to the scheduler. Confirmer

3.7. Proceed the dyeing, as per laboratory confirm recipe. Shift Manger

As per Urgency
3.8. Check 1st bulk shade with approved hanger. CQC

3.9. If shade is approved, then sign-off the bulk hanger & Shift Manger Within 24 hours
recipe and proceed blind dyeing for next batch.

3.10. If shade is rejected, Make decision as,

• Attach fail batch CMC report, lab recheck and find


out fail batch root cause analysis.

• If possible, go for next bulk with little adjustment in Dyeing
the recipe with approved hanger.

Or

• Again, confirm recipe from lab.
