FOR LISTENING ACTIVITIES

BEFORE LISTENING
Read questions before the listening starts
Underline key words
Think about the question and identify the topic or context
Try to predict the answers (noun, date, number, place...)

DURING 1ST LISTENING

Try to understand the general idea or topic
Make notes during the listening
Don’t try to understand every word

AFTER 1ST LISTENING

Read questions again, especially those you could not
answer
Read questions you answered to confirm you were
correct

DURING 2ND LISTENING

Check your answers again
Try to answer the remaining questions

AFTER 2ND LISTENING

Read and check your answers
If you don’t know the answer, guess!
