Continuous Ink Jet Printer

USER’S MANUAL

Safety precautions
●Due to the heavy weight of the printer, extreme care must be taken when unpacking or moving. When lifting the
printer, be sure to observe the guidelines concerning the safe handling of heavy objects.
●Always position the printer upright and place it on a level surface. The printer should not be placed sideways at any
time.
● Make sure that the printer's power cable is properly connected to the power supply and securely plugged in.
●Before cleaning or performing any maintenance on the printer, make sure that it is turned off.
●When the printer is powered on, there is a high pressure in the housing and at the showerhead; Failure to follow
correct electrical safety precautions can result in serious injury or death.
●When the printer is running and you are working on the printer or using inks or solvents, make sure
that the print job area is well ventilated.
● Wear protective glasses when using inks and solvents. Protective glasses must comply with relevant
international directives. This guide shows an eye protection warning sign in place to alert you to the
mandatory requirement for wearing protective glasses.
● Wear resistant gloves when you are dealing with ink and solvents, or at any time when your hand
may be exposed to ink or solvents.
●Protection cream can help protect skin from exposure, but it is less protective than protective
gloves.Once the skin has touched the ink or the solvent, you should not apply the protection cream.
● When the printer has been energized, do not look into the end of the nozzle. Never point the nozzle
to anyone.
●Use any solvent that corresponds to all inks and remove any spilled ink, solvent, or ink deposits
immediately.

23.nozzle flush
When the printhead leaks, the ink line is not straight, the start failure, the printing effect is not good
(adjust the amplitude also does not work) and so on, the nozzle is to be cleaned.
Method 1, enter the "System" -- > "Nozzle Flush" menu, select "On", and clean the cleaning agent
with the cleaning pot, until the program is finished, then stop.
Method 2, enter the "system" -- > " Nozzle Purge" menu, select "On", this method automatically
executes
tes the cleaning procedure for the machine.
Note: method 1 and 2 execution procedures must not exceed 20 times.

24. Adjust the modulation value.

When the printing effect is not good, can not distinguish the glyph and so on, only need to adjust
the modulation
ion value , No maintenance machine required.

25. Adjust the ink type.

Select the correct ink type (630, B600, 601, A630, 680, 619, 669) when the customer is installing a
new machine or replacing different types of ink.

26.Diagnostics screen.
Press the "i " key to appear the following diagnostic screen:

The main parameters are as follows:

Pressure Set: the ink system runs target pressure.
Actual pressure: real-time
time pressure value of ink.
Ink temperature: the ink temperature of the inkr (relation to the set viscosity value)
Cabinet temperature: the temperature of the machine cabinet.

9 / 13
Printhead temperature: printhead temperature. Normally, it is 35.
Modulation value: modulation set value.
Makeup level: Hollow: Solvent tank less solvent Solid: normal solvent tank level
Ink level: The first icon indicates the status of the ink tank normal level, and the second icon indicates
the status of the ink tank high level. Hollow represents no, solid represents yes.
Gutter Status: in gutter is normal for recycling, null is for recycling exception
Chamber level: The first icon indicates the status of the low level of the chamber, and the second icon
indicates the status of the high level of the chamber. Hollow represents no, solid
represents yes.
VMS Set: ink viscosity automatically set by the machine according to ink type and ink temperature
Actual VMS: actual ink viscosity detected by the machine
Topup: The number of solvent additions when the "actual VMS" of the ink is greater than the "VMS
Set"
EHT/300V: EHT and 300V voltage is on or off
Shaft Encode: Normal or Quick
Printing phase: real-time phase value in printer operation
Phase Profile: Phase working state diagram, 1 represents phase flipping, 0 represents no flipping,
normally the number of 1 is 6~9.
Note: Engineers can often guide you through the troubleshooting process by simply asking the
contents of this screen. Therefore, you only need to tell the engineer the data displayed by the printer.
