How would you describe a good teacher?

I would describe a good teacher as someone approachable who helps students learn and

understand the lecture. A teacher who goes their own way to make sure every student

understands and follows the lecture. For example, if a student is stuck but is too afraid to ask for

help, the teacher should go to that student and ask if they understood and then explain to the

student till they finally understand. I say this because there are a lot of students like this and I

think teachers should know how to deal with it like I explained because then the student will be

comfortable with the teacher and not afraid to ask anymore. Also I would say a good teacher is

someone who actually teaches in class because nowadays mostly in middle school and high

school teachers don't really teach anymore. They now rely on videos and just packets of reading.

I would say that's not teaching but ignorance to students. A teacher who goes to the board and

explains and asks questions and goes over an example of that question over again. Not a teacher

who uses a short or long video to explain the answers to the problem but a teacher who explains

and then shows a video to help understand better after. I believe a teacher should be

approachable, considerent, and kind to their student and if not then that person SHOULD NOT

BE A TEACHER. Last, I would say a good teacher would speak to each student and ask them

how they are, how they feel, and how they can help them in class. This is how I would describe a

good teacher.
