OVERVIEW:
On January 6, 2024, Barangay La Libertad joined the Annual Community
Development Day: Kalinisan (Kalinga at Inisyatiba para sa Malinis na Bayan)
Program, a program of the Department of Interior & Local Government (DILG) that
aims to create a clean and safer environment for all. By empowering local
government units, the initiative aims to establish sustainable practices that
resonate with the community. A total of 58 participants led by the punong
barangay, Hon. Felixberto V. Enriquez were gathered to conduct a clean-up drive
activity in the barangay. The activity commenced at 7:00 o’clock in the morning
and ended at 10:00 o’clock in the morning.

All waste collected has accumulated to a total of 87 sacks. All were securely
segregated according to their classification and was put at the barangay MRF.
