2. Computer trained secretaries. Have at least 1-year experience in working with


computers. We are open for full time position. If you are interested call us at 332-6487.

3. Looking for Part time? We are in need for 2 part time shop assistants for night shift. No
experience required. Must be between 18 to 26 years old. Please call 0939456288 for
more information.

4. Hiring: Full time secretary position. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience
and be able to type 60 words in a minute. No computer skills required. Send your resume

5. We are looking for retired adults who would like to work part time in weekend.
Responsibilities include answering the telephone and giving costumer’s information. If
you are interested, apply directly in our office at 45 Clara St., Sto. Domingo, Quezon City.
Applicants:

Razel Jarliga – recently retired and is looking for a part time position. She likes to work with people
and enjoys public relation work.

Marisol Morendo – a 21-year-old student who is looking for a part time job in the evening to help her
pay for her tuition fees in school.

Aries Dizon – trained secretary and has four years of work experience. He is an excellent typist but
has limited computer skills. He is looking for a full-time position.

Gerry Embile – went to business school and studied computer secretarial. He has no work experience
yet and is looking for a full-time position.

Ronalyn Alonzo – a licensed teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is available to
work during the day.

TASK #3: Directions: Read and understand the story below. Write your answer in your notebook.

The Noisy Neighbor

Pedro couldn't take it anymore. His upstairs neighbor was blasting his electric guitar again. He had
asked him twice already to turn the volume down. The first time he asked, he was surprised. He said he
didn't know that he could hear his electric guitar.

"Yes," he said, "it's just like your electric guitar was in my living room. I can hear every note!"

He said he would keep it down. He hoped that he was telling the truth. Of course, he wasn't. The very
next day, he blasted his electric guitar again. He marched upstairs to reminded him of his promise. He said
the volume was so low that he could barely hear it. He asked him to turn it lower. He said he would try.
Pedro could swear that when he reentered his apartment, the music was louder than when he had walked
upstairs.

So, this was the third time. He took his bamboo stick upstairs with him. He knocked very loudly on
his door. When he opened the door, he screamed at him like a crazy person. He told him he would hit him
if he did not turn the music down and keep it down. His eyes got big.

He went back downstairs. He could not hear a note. I cannot believe I said that he told himself.
