Rules & Regulations on Attendance

Full Attendance:

1. In this context, full attendance refers to attendance record WITHOUT:


i. Late coming (attending work after the fifth minute of their working shift);
ii. Early out (leaving work before their working shift ends);
iii. Less than 8 working hours;
iv. Any unpaid leave (full day or half day);
v. Absent without leave (AWOL).

2. For the first recorded tardiness in a month, a verbal warning will be given and
counselling will be conducted with the worker.
3. For the second recorded tardiness in a month, a verbal warning (reminder on deduction
penalty) will be given and will be placed under watch list.
4. For the third recorded tardiness, number of a penalty of 25% of deduction from the
total amount of attendance token will be imposed. First warning letter will be issued.
5. For 4 times and more recorded tardiness in a month, a penalty of 50% of deduction
from the total amount of attendance token will be imposed. A final warning letter will
be issued.
6. For a recurring recorded tardiness in a month, total deduction penalty from the
total amount of attendance token will be imposed. The worker will be placed under
close monitoring and considered replacement.

AWOL:

7. For the first AWOL in a month, a penalty of 25% of deduction from the total amount
of attendance token will be imposed. A verbal warning will be given and counselling
will be conducted with the worker.
1. For the second AWOL in a month, a penalty of 50% of deduction from the total
amount of attendance token will be imposed. First warning letter will be issued.
2. For the third or more AWOL in a month, total deduction penalty from the total amount
of attendance token will be imposed. Final warning letter will be issued and the
worker will be placed under close monitoring and considered replacement.

Rules & Regulations on Safety

1. For the first reported safety non-compliance in a month, a verbal warning will be
given and counselling will be conducted with the worker.
2. For the second reported safety non-compliance in a month, a verbal warning
(reminder on deduction penalty) will be given and will be placed under watch list.
3. For the third reported safety non-compliance in a month, a penalty of 25% of
deduction from the total amount of safety token will be imposed. First warning letter
will be issued. However, the disciplinary actions imposed depends on the severity of
the offence.
4. For 4 times and more reported safety non-compliance in a month, a penalty of
50% of deduction from the total amount of safety token will be imposed. Final
warning letter will be issued. However, the disciplinary actions imposed depends on
the severity of the offence.
5. For a recurring reported safety non-compliance, OR proven to be involved in
numerous safety misconducts or in a MAJOR safety misconduct in a month, total
deduction penalty from the total amount of safety token will be imposed. The worker
will be placed under close monitoring and considered replacement. However, the
disciplinary actions imposed depends on the severity of the offence.
