Additional Requirements
- Must have ability to get along with a broad customer base.
- High level of communication skills using all methods email, phone etc.
- Experience with Point-of-Sale & computerized inventory systems or the ability to
quickly learn.
- Retail sales or mechanical knowledge of trucks or similar related industries and
the commitment to continually develop knowledge.
- Ability to look up parts and quote prices for parts using proper catalogue for
particular truck.
Roles & Responsibilities for SKD Manager
Manpower planning as per the production requirement
Plan for POKA YOKE (error proofing) methods to reduce the quality defects
Improve the working efficiency
Production posting (Transfer vouchers) to concern department after completion
of the production
Carry out the productivity improvements in assembly.
Training of operator’s stage wise, model wise and process wise.
Maintain 5’S.
Monitor the SKD kits offloading from the containers and report to Isuzu for any
abnormality
Understand the process of KDPR / KDPL and report the problems accordingly to
Isuzu
Consumables & PPE usage by the operators.
SKD parts receipt confirmation of quality and quantity.
Conduct meeting with QC for inspection results and implement actions on line to
prevent defects
Fire extinguishers / fire hose reel are in place & in working condition.
Safety adherence at the Shop floor.
Cost of consumables / budget, and ensure PPE items procurement
Daily production plan as per the customer requirement.
Training for the operators & Skill development of operators and review of Skill
matrix for job rotation
Coordination with finance for Bank inspection of SKD kits and finished vehicle
assembly
BOQ updation and report to finance
