1. Btech. Mechanical

To identify the gaps in supplier Quality system- Quality, Delivery and operational alignment with Eaton
manufacturing
sites,
communicate back to supplier & take follow up for improvement actions. Ensure supplier training and
actions
implemented
in respective process for defect free product supply with aiming overall supplier performance
improvement.
1. Evaluate and timely closure of 8D (DMR - Defective Material Report) on the defect from external
suppliers
2. Identify, investigate, and Resolve Supplier Technical and/or System issues related to product or
process realization to
have effective closures.
3. Analyzes Supplier Issues, use of statistical and analytical tools for Supplier Improvement.
4. Implement measures to improve CAR/CAPA, Process efficiency and engage Team to achieve Goals
for on time
closures
5. Trouble shoot flawless closures in coordination with global stake holders.
6 Assist in data analysis and business growth for various supplier Quality process
7. Anticipate customer requirements and provide customer centric solutions.
8. Work as a co- coordinator between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, Plants,
Operations, etc.) to
clarify requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve closure lead time and accuracy.
9.Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on adhoc requests.
10.Monitor and communicate supplier performance of all key suppliers.
11. Support and lead process transitions through on time and accurate documentation,
12. Lead projects in team and act as SPOC for multiple sites and customers.
13. Identify, investigate, and Resolve Supplier Technical and/or System issues related to product or
process realization to
have effective closures - Change managements and corelation issues

Qualifications - External
Qualification - BE in (Mechanical/Production/Aeronautical/ Industrial Engineering)
Experience required - 1.Minimum 6~8 years of experience in, Manufacturing / or Process Engineering
and Supplier
Development and Quality
2. Experience in working with global customers & suppliers.
Technical knowledge - Knowledge of problem solving tools,APQP, PPAP, Core Tools ,GD&T and AIAG.
Working knowledge of statistical tools including SPC, Gauge R&R and capability analysis, Knowledge of
manufacturing
processes such as Precision machining/Casting /Forging /Molding is preferred as per sequence.
Soft skills - Effective Communication ,Influencing skills- Customers and Suppliers.Interpersonal skills,
Strong Accountability and Escalation Management
Time / Priority Management ,Presentation Skills
Monitoring of Process KPI’s and action planning in case of not meeting the defined target/Customer
expectations
through continuous improvement

2. Btech Electrical/\Electronics
Job Responsibilities
 
1. Act as a Subject matter expert for Non catalog compliance process and setting up processes around
Non catalog compliance. lead help desk for Eaton requestors / suppliers / commodity leaders for all
queries related to Non Catalog management, Catalog management
2.Part of compliance check approver team for all categories
3. Work with commodity managers on tactical buying/strategic opportunities, Will be driving indirect
activities on Ariba Guided Buying and driving compliance check process by working with Commodity
managers
4. Testing and validation of supplier’s catalog ongoing basis
5. Establish & maintain a strong supplier relationship which can be leveraged for guided buying.
6. Supporting to bridge the gaps between the requestor and suppliers and drive as one team.
7. Monthly reporting to CM’s and leadership team. Should be strong in Data analytics skill to get
meaningful decisions made out of numbers. Monthly dashboard on non compliance reporting
8. Work collaboratively and be able to communicate effectively globally
9. Ensure projects meet their financial & operational goals (KPIs) viz cost out, cost avoidance, productivity
gain and on time & accurate deliveries.
10. Establish robust capability monitoring mechanism for all the critical process
11.Drive customer engagement and satisfaction by meeting customer expectations and needs, meeting
customer focused KPIs, understand VoC frequent interaction.
12.To plan, schedule and manage the defined business services, delivering to agreed timescales, budget,
quality criteria and commitments.
13.Address customer escalations promptly with having sustainable solutions in place with the help of
Why-Why, 8D, A3 approaches.
14.Monitor progress and achievements on projects. Provide timely status and reports to stakeholders.
15.Champions Continuous Improvement Culture through Kaizen, BPI, Process Improvement and
Standardization
16. Flexible in attitude and approach in completing all the tasks assigned to the position & willingness to
learn new skills as desired
17. Knowledge on Non Catalog requisition like 3 bids & Buy, Service Buy and End to End to P2P
deployment in Ariba Guided Buying is an advantage.
18. Preference for those who have deployed Invoice module, know to develop and deploy forms in
Guided Buying.
19. Should be able to complete all the project related deliverables on time coordinating with multiple
stakeholders for achieving project milestones
Qualifications - External
 
Qualification

 Any Graduate / PG 

 Masters with 3-4 years / Bachelors with 5-6 years of experience in SCM processes , relevant
working experience in catalog management and guided buying is preferred
 "Catalog management/ Guided buying Exposure to Continuous Improvement / Lean Six
Sigma would be preferred"
 Excellent communication & presentation skills to work with Global, regional & local 
management teams across the globe.
