You will work closely with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, developers, and vendors, to understand requirements, analyze processes, and deliver valuable insights and recommendations to support the successful implementation of retail projects. Your role will involve a combination of business analysis, process improvement, data analysis, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and
document business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements, for retail projects. Conduct interviews, workshops, and document analysis to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs. 2. Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and drive customer satisfaction. Develop process maps, workflows, and business models to illustrate current and future states. 3. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from retail-related data, including sales, inventory, customer behavior, and market trends. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making processes. 4. Solution Design and Documentation: Collaborate with technical teams and solution architects to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs. Create detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria, to guide the development and implementation of retail solutions. 5. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among business users, project managers, developers, and vendors. Conduct regular status meetings, provide progress updates, and address questions and concerns to ensure project alignment and successful delivery. 6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Work closely with testing teams to define test scenarios, validate solutions against business requirements, and support user acceptance testing. Identify and resolve issues or gaps in functionality, ensuring high-quality deliverables. 7. Change Management: Assist in change management activities, including training and documentation, to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new retail processes, systems, and technologies. Provide support and guidance to end users during the implementation and post-implementation phases. 8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the retail sector. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation to drive business growth and competitive advantage.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a
related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus. Proven experience ( 3 to 5 years) as a Business Analyst in Supply chain projects, with a solid understanding of SCM operations and processes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions. Proficiency in business analysis techniques, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, data analysis, and solution design. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose creative solutions. Proficiency in using business analysis and project management tools, such as requirements management software, diagramming tools, and collaboration platforms
