The Mercer Software Support Desk (MSSD) Senior Analyst will provide telephone and web-interface support to internal
and external users of Mercer's suite of technology products within Talent Technology Solutions
SOFTWARE SUPPORT & TROUBLESHOOTING:
• Provide telephone and email software support to our external and internal clients on Mercer proprietary software that
falls under the Talent business.
• Interact with internal and external clients/teams via phone and/or email to resolve technical issues with client specific
databases.
• Follow established procedures to track and document calls and emails.
• Conduct research and troubleshoot complex or advanced inquiries, identifying problems and implementing steps to
resolve issues.
• Update knowledge base in iSupport.
• Proactively manage full issue resolution lifecycle to ensure issues are moving through the ticket tracking system
effectively.
• Identify recurring issues utilizing the ticket tracking system. Formulate ideas to avoid recurring issues. Discuss ideas
with MSSD Leader.
• Follow process and policies around escalation.
• Analyse HR problems using root-cause analysis, hypothesis generation, survey design, benchmarking, and other
qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Knowledge of other BI tools such as Power Pivot, Tableau will be added advantage.

marketing, sales materials, presentations, publications and other client materials. Designs, reviews and/or creates
materials and design concepts for advertisements, publications, pamphlets, posters, labels and other mediums. Uses
graphics software and/or web-based graphics and design tools to design and produce finished artwork. Implements and
conceptualizes new approaches for interactive experiences and opportunities for integration of technologies including
wireless, video and the web.
Evaluates, reviews and edits internal and external communications and materials for quality, completeness, accuracy and alignment
with established standards. Plans and coordinates the editorial activities for materials (e.g., proofreads, requests revisions from
designers and authors, flags for further review, assigns appropriate editors, writes recommendations, checks for completeness and
prepares flow dates and statistics). Liaises and coordinates communication between editors and other teams involved in material
preparation (e.g., business leaders, production team, graphic artists and video sound engineers). May also be responsible for
maintaining and revising the style guide.
The purpose of the Survey Implementation Analyst position is to work independently, on complex system
implementations for surveys, creating databases, creating/coding reports, and supporting survey data processing tools
to ensure the successful implementation of a suite of compensation and/or human resource practices survey products.
The Survey Implementation Analyst advises on the technical set-up of the surveys in compliance with client survey
project requirements and global implementation best practices and standards.
• Technical Implementation/Support
For complex survey implementation, create survey databases by using proprietary software (GST), setting-up Data
Dictionaries, creating data audits, coding customized reports, parameterizing benefit valuation calculations and setting
up statistical calculations. Configuring and deploying on-line survey data reporting tools. Advise Survey Operation
teams on survey setup specifications and implementation best practices. Recognize, diagnose, and solve
moderate/complex process issues and technical problems independently. Conduct technical peer review in accordance
with global standards. Evaluate current process state and make improvement recommendations.

Provide tier 1 technical support to Survey Operations staff in resolving GST and Macro issues.

Analytical Solutions Team works for Mercer clients and consultants across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin
America. Due to the rapid expansion, we are looking for a new team member who would be responsible for projects in
EMEA & APAC region.
• Project delivery. Delivering projects (reports and analyses) against client commitments, including standard, defined
products (e.g. market pricings, remuneration deviation analyses, benefits benchmarking reports, expatriate calculations)
as well as more complex analyses (some of them still under guidance of a more senior colleague). Responsible for the
whole process, from initial response to the request, through the preparation of analysis and ensuring peer review by a
peer or a more senior colleague, till project delivery to consultant/client and responding to consultant/client queries on
the project.

• Complex projects support. Taking part in complex custom projects (not defined products) under senior colleagues’
supervision. Providing recommendations on possible solutions and improvements. Preparing data analyses based on
the project manager/senior colleague guidelines.
• Project management. Taking over full responsibility for delivery of projects being assigned. Managing own time
schedule, workload and priority of tasks. Handling communication with consultants and tracking progress using internal
reporting tools. Participating in calls, project meetings, updating project documentation and providing project feedback.
• Peer review. Performing peer review of colleagues’ projects. Apply broad knowledge and experience to ensure high
quality of products being delivered to clients.
• Project quotes. Providing price and timelines estimations (usually for standard products). Occasionally supporting client
quotes and proposals for non-standard type of work.
• Revenue, time and project recording. Accurate recording of information provided by consultants/clients and own time
spent on projects, using internal systems and spreadsheets. Used in measuring team/project efficiency, workload
planning and financial reconciliations for the Team’s work.
• Team contribution/innovation. Contributing, developing and implementing internal improvements within the Team
(tools, processes). Either as a team member, responsible for a specific activity within an improvement project or a team
lead, guiding the team’s work.

Researches on a variety of executive compensation programs (e.g. executives and board of directors base pay,

Performs quantitative and qualitative research using annual reports, proxy disclosures and investor relations materials,
following methodologies and regulations of various stock exchanges across the globe.
Support and optimizes the development of executive remuneration data products.
Develops, analyzes and adheres to product development strategies and standards (e.g. data accuracy, workflow
standards, budgets, technology development and process improvements).Analyzes competitive market data to provide
pay and level recommendations. Consults with managers and HR Business Partners on pay recommendations, job
evaluations and employee communications. Designs new programs for base pay, incentive pay and performance
