Distributed deployment is achieved by performing a

Davis 5 complete installation on the server worksta-
tion first and by running the Davis 5 client installa-
tion package on each additional client workstation.

NOTICE
You need to install the same software version of
Davis 5 on the server workstation as well as on
the client workstations.
Performing the Davis 5 complete installation is
only allowed once. Do not run multiple instances
of Davis 5 server on different workstations in the
network.
Davis 5 has been tested with a maximum num-
ber of 10 mPDS 5 / Pico 3000 OEM and 10 Lab-
oratory devices registered on one server and
with a maximum number of 10 clients.
Use 2 servers if you have more than 10 Process
devices and Laboratory devices.

TIP The Davis 5 client installation package can be

identified by the suffix _CLIENTONLY in the setup

6.2.5 Initial Adjustment

When you start up a new process measurement
system, the results of the process measurements
will typically slightly deviate from the laboratory ref-
erence results. Therefore, perform an initial adjust-
ment, once for each product.
1. Click <Start new calibration>. Fig. 54: Show products with latest adjustment dates
2. Enter the laboratory reference values in the col-
umn "Reference" and press <Enter>.
3. Click <Finish calibration> to complete the cali-
bration process and confirm with <Yes>.
4. Click the adjustment button in the recommenda-

tion area to open the adjustment window.
