Monthly Internship Report

On the first day of Internship on the 09/01/2023 I was asked to write 10 lines about Shriram Life
Insurance Company.5 lines I was asked to write on IRDAI then on the 10/01/23 we got to know
about the terminologies and types of life insurance. Mam also told us about Grace Period,Term
Life Insurance,Death Benefit and Maturity Age and Human Life Value.On the 11/01/23 the
Industry Mentor taught us about Distribution Channels in Life Insurance,Bank Assurance
Channel,Policy Bazaar and Direct Channel and Digital Channel in Life Insurance.Then on the
12/01/23 mam taught us about sums in Human Life Value and she told us to change the
numerical values of the same sum and do it again.On the13/01/23 mam told us to make groups
of 3-4 members for Presentation Purpose.I made group with Vivek Kakade.14/01/23 and
15/01/23 was holidays.Then on the 16/01/23 and 17/01/23 both days presentations were
conducted I made presentation on Fixed Deposits.18/01/23 no class was conducted as mam
was on leave.On the 19/01/23 also mam made us do sums on life insurance and on the
20/01/23 mam told us to present the sums in front of everyone and also explain the
sums.21/01/23 and 22/01/23 was Saturday and Sunday no class was conducted on these
days.Also on the 23/01/23 mam made us do sums on life insurance she taught us.On the
24/01/23 she showed us a table and asked us what were the things we lacking in while pitching
to sell a product.On the 25/01/23 mam taught us another sum.26/01/23 was a holiday due to
Republic Day.27/01/23 students did a role play(drama) of a seller and customer in Life
Insurance.I grouped up with Yagyadatt Punjabi from D.Y PATIL COLLEGE and in the drama
became his elder sister and he became my younger brother he tried to sell me the insurance
policy and became successful.28/01/23 mam had asked us to prepare questions what we are
going to ask to the customer.28/01/23 Nishtha Sonani our Industry mentor had invited Ispita
Tamba area head in the meeting and Nishtha mam also showed us a video.29/01/23 it was
Sunday a holiday.30/01/23 mam invited Mohd Bilal sir in the meeting and he was explaining
Business Analysis and was also giving guidance to each student on career
opportunities.31/01/23 no class of Internship was conducted.01/02/23 mam shared the Kyc
details and also the form on which the customer has to fill his name and put his signature.Also
mam was discussing about which topic should be selected for project title.I chose the (3) topic
for Project title out of 12 to topics.02/02/23 and 03/02/23 no class was conducted as mam was
busy in a company meeting.04/02/23 and 05/02/23 were holidays as it was Saturday and
Sunday.06/02/23 mam showed us one video and also was asking us to sell our insurance
policies after the class gets over to our parents,near relatives and to the outsiders(unknown
people).07/02/23 mam showed us a video on Claims,Maturity Claims,Survival Benefit
Claims,Death Claims and Early Death Claims.Claims on Lapsed Policies.IRDAI regulations
regarding Claims and why a claim may be invalid.08/02/23 on this day mam had invited Sahin
Sota an emerging intern to explain the importance of Insurance.
