Based on my level of understanding technical writing is a type of writing that observes


technicalities. It must be written in a more formal, straight to the point, and organized manner
compare to the other forms of writing. Also, as what I have remembered from my past academic
years, when making a technical writing, a writer must avoid flowery and jargon words in order
for the readers to not be confused. Its primary purpose it to give clarity to a certain subject
through the forms of giving instructions, explanations, and etc.
2. Having a quality technical writing is very important. There are tips that needs to be followed in
order to achieve one. First, knowing the audience. A writer must fully engaged herself/himself
to its reader in order for her/him to get to know the intellectual capacity of the reader. This
attitude also shows how considerate a writer is most especially if her/his work is understandable
of every individual skilled or not. Using an impersonal style is also a useful tip in making a good
technical writing. It suggests that writing in a more objective way is highly needed in which your
work isn’t influenced by your opinions as a writer. Meanwhile, writing in a straightforward way
is a practical advice as well. It only means that upon writing a technical writing, a writer should
just go with crucial details and avoid adding much information that often leads to confusions. As
long as the reader can get the main point or idea of the subject it’s enough. Knowing how to
research comes next, in which I find it as the most essential one among all. Being thorough and
certain with the information you include in a technical writing is excellent. It opens an
opportunity for you as a writer to expand the subject well to your audience to give a complete
comprehension based from the data you’ve gathered from the different sources. Lastly, being
thorough to the details should be consider too. Providing sufficient information that would
satisfy your audience but still considering the length of the writing makes the writing
exceptional.
3. Considering the text given, it only means that a good technical writer can make complicated task
simply and understandable. He/she can provide a basic explanations but still equates to the
original thought if he/she is expert to his/her work. It also denotes that it is their top quality
since its sole purpose is to inform the audience by giving off instructions and directions in a way
that’s quick to translate and comprehend.
4. Use of “You Attitude” in technical communication or writing wants to imply that utilizing it
creates a wider thought and comprehension to the audience. You-attitude based on how I
understand it is a writing style that aims to engage the views and personal perspective of the
audience to the subject. It’s like putting the shoe to the readers’. Personally, I find it interesting
because as an audience, I tend to conclude things and give my arguments from my level of
understanding.
5. The true essence of conducting meeting in a certain company is to discuss among the group
some important matters. These matters includes, ways to improve the productivity of the
company, expand the projects, strengthen relationships, and how to satisfy the clients. Actual
meeting is more effective than the virtual one for the reason that, in a face-to-face meeting,
verbal communication is not the only communication that exists but also the non-verbal as well.
For an instance, nodding which is very visible in an actual meeting, through nodding the speaker
can be assure that the group is agreeing to the idea.
6. Discuss the necessary steps in Conducting a Meeting. There are necessary steps beforehand in
order to conduct a meeting. Creating an agenda should come first. It is about what should be
tackled during the meeting. Next, you have to decide who are the attendees. People who should
be in the meeting are those who are concerned about the subject as they will become the
important elements of the meeting. They will be the one who agrees or oppose the discussed
topic. Furthermore, picking a place and date must be considered also. You have to make sure
that the time you chose is convenient for everyone. Preparing the agenda of the meeting is also
important which will be the guide and basis of the flow of the meeting. Lastly, determine who
should take the minutes. On this part, you have to be keen upon choosing the right fit for the
position because his/her task will be crucial.
7. Having a Minutes of the Meeting is essential. It notes the important events that had happened
during the meeting. It plays a huge part since by the help of it, people can recall the things that
had been agreed during the discussion. Also, it tallies the details from basic to big ones. Having a
minutes might lessen the liabilities of individuals as well because you can trace who opted and
imparted a specific ideas.
8. The Minutes of the meeting has a various parts. These includes the heading, title of the meeting,
attendance, call to order, approval of the minutes of the previous meeting, business arising from
the minutes of the meeting, new business, adjournment, and signature. The heading basically
consist of the subject of the meeting. Attendance, is the tallies of who attended including
excused who initially informed the chairperson of their absence which is also known regrets,
and the absent individuals. Call to order on the other hand, is consisting of the time of the event
which also regards the one who called the meeting. Approval of the minutes of the previous
meeting, comes next. In this portion, the conduct of agreement to the previous minutes
happens. They can change some part however they want. Next, business arising from the
minutes of the meeting are some issues that needs to be focused on to give immediate solution.
Additionally, new business simply means the agenda or the topic that will be discussed during
the event. It is then followed by adjournment. The exact time of when the meeting was ended
can be found on the part. Lastly, signature of the one who documented the whole duration of
the meeting. All in all, every part are equally important. The absence of one particular part
weakens the minutes of the meeting.
