Search for a web application/website that is used for business. Provide/answer the following:

1. Name of the web app/website (2 points)

- Microsoft Outlook

2. Link to the web app/website (2 points)

3. Screenshot of the home page (3 points)

4. Short description about the web app/website (3 points)

- Microsoft Outlook is a program for managing personal information and emails that
is extensively used. Users may manage their calendars, make appointments, send
and receive emails, and keep track of their contacts, tasks, and notes. With its
simple interface and seamless integration with other Microsoft Office programs like
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook makes it simple to keep productive and
organized.
Microsoft Outlook is a crucial tool for anyone who wants to keep connected and
organized in today's fast-paced digital world because to its robust features and diverse
capabilities.
5. Three (3) unique/interesting features of the web app/website (5 points)
- The 3 unique/interesting features of the Microsoft Outlook are the Focused Inbox,
@Mentions and Quick Parts. Outlook's Focused Inbox feature helps users to focus on the
emails that matter most. It automatically sorts emails into two tabs which is "Focused"
and "Other" based on the user's reading habits. This way, important emails are
highlighted in the "Focused" tab, while less important emails are filtered into the
"Other" tab, reducing distractions and improving productivity. Outlooks @Mentions
feature enables users to call attention to specific individuals or groups in their emails. By
typing the @ symbol followed by the person's name, the person will be notified that
they have been mentioned in the email, making it easy to draw their attention to a
specific point. Outlook's Quick Parts feature allows users to quickly insert frequently
used text, such as standard replies or signatures, with just a few clicks. Users can create
and save these snippets of text for future use, saving time and effort when composing
emails. This feature is especially useful for individuals who frequently send emails with
similar content, such as customer service representatives or salespeople.

6. Assuming you are tasked to modify the web app/website, what are the changes that you
will apply to it? (10 points)
- Outlook can be made more powerful by integrating with third-party applications such
as project management tools, task management apps, and customer relationship
management software. This will allow users to have all their essential tools in one place,
making it easier to manage their work and saving them time in switching between apps.
As email security remains a priority concern for users, Microsoft can improve Outlook's
security features to protect user data from cyber threats. For instance, they can add
more options for two-factor authentication, advanced phishing detection, or even
adding end-to-end encryption for email communications. Outlook's user interface can be
improved by simplifying the layout and reducing clutter, making it more intuitive and
easier to navigate. For example, decluttering the toolbar, consolidating multiple
settings/options, or even introducing a dark mode. Lastly, Outlook's calendar feature
could be enhanced with more features to better manage appointments, meetings, and
events. For instance, the ability to set custom reminders, send meeting agenda with the
invite, or have a "Suggest a new meeting time" feature.
