broadcast mode. All ONUs can receive the same data, and identify/distinguish/filter their own data

▪ TDMA mode: the GPON upstream transmits data through TDMA (time division multiple access) mode. The uplink is
divided into different time slots, and each ONU is assigned the uplink time slots according to the upstream bandwidth
map field of the downstream frame, so that all ONUs can send their own data in a certain order, and there will be no
conflict for the time slot.
