Solve by elimination or substitution
x=14 , y =6
So the cost of a hammer is $14 and the cost of a screwdriver is $6

13.) Solve the problem below using simultaneous equations.

3 x−5= y−1
2 x−4= y −3
Rearrange equations, solve by substitution or elimination
x=3 , y=5
