Guidelines for the declamation contest:

1. The language of the contest shall be English or Hindi.

2. The speech will be of 4 to 6 minutes duration. The time limit will be strictly enforced. The first bell shall
ring at 4th minute. The second warning bell will ring 30 seconds before the 6th minute.

3. The speaker is expected to memorize his/her speech, and is not allowed to read any part of the speech
from paper, cards, phone, etc.

Based on the scores, a merit list shall be prepared, on the basis of which those who have scored the highest
marks in order of merit shall be declared 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize winners.
