Volunteer Programme-Zakat Campaign 2024

This Ramadan, we're empowering Volunteers with diverse volunteer opportunities that transcend geographical boundaries. Our range of
activities caters to all volunteers' needs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. This initiative provides Volunteers the chance to intern or
volunteer locally during the Zakat campaign, right from their own vicinity or comfort zone.

No. Activity Target Task

1. Community Outreach: Flyer 50 Flyers Volunteer will distribute the flyers according to the given target in their
Distribution Drive areas.

2. Donation Drive: Empowerment Minimum of Rs. Volunteer will create online donation box or use charity booklets to

Guidelines for Volunteers
 To receive the experience letter, volunteers are required to complete all activities within minimum of two weeks timeframe.
 Volunteers will work in groups of ten, with each volunteer accountable for meeting their individual targets. Student Ambassadors in
every region will serve as team leads for their respective volunteer groups.
 It's the team lead's i.e. Student ambassador’s responsibility to ensure team members engage in activities, assist them in meeting their
goals, and share photos related to activities with SKM representative in different regions for uploading onto the social media pages.
 Student ambassadors are required to:
1. Ensure each team member raises a minimum donation of Rs. 15,000 for SKMT.
2. Share heartfelt Eid messages for both cancer patients and healthcare workers at the Hospital.

Activity Requirements
1. Community Outreach: Flyer Distribution Drive
 Volunteers are instructed not to distribute flyers in groups.
 Volunteers will receive T-shirts and caps to aid them in their tasks.
 To reach their targets, volunteers can focus on distributing flyers door-to-door, in market areas, parks, and outside mosques.
 Volunteers are required to share pictures of their tasks with their team lead.

2. Donation Drive: Empowerment Through Giving

Volunteers have the option to collect donations using charity booklets or make direct transfers to any Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust
bank account (details of which is available on our official website.) However, they must submit evidence or receipts to verify their
contributions and complete the activity.

Volunteers can raise funds/donations online by following below mentioned steps;

 Step-2: Click on ‘Start Fundraising”
 Step-3: Create your fundraising page (https://vimeo.com/274456687#embed)
 Step-4: Donate and pass it on to your family & friends all over the world.

3. Digital Outreach: Connecting Virtually and Impacting Lives

 Volunteers will disseminate SKMCH Zakat campaign messages across various social media platforms to raise awareness.
 They have the option to share SKMCH Zakat posts/Ads or create original content such as videos, posts, or blogs aligned with the
theme of the Zakat campaign 2024.
 Each volunteer is required to share the message on a minimum of four social media platforms.
 Volunteers must provide screenshots of their posts to their team lead within 24 hours to fulfill the activity requirements.
 They must use hashtags #VolunteerForSKMCH #ShaukatKhanumTigers #SKMCH #VolunteerOpportunity

4. Zakat Circle: Spreading Generosity Together

 Volunteers have the option to conduct on-ground or virtual session using platforms like Zoom or Facebook Live, with a minimum of
8 participants.
 They are required to gather details of participants including their full name, contact number, and occupation, and share this
information with the respective regional team.
 Volunteers are encouraged to invite members of the regional team to join their online sessions.
 Pictures/screenshots of the online sessions must be shared with the regional teams for documentation.

5. Reel Craft: Weave Your Volunteer Journey

 Volunteers are required to create a reel involving themselves in storytelling or creating media content.
 They are encouraged to share their unique experiences and perspectives gained from their involvement in volunteering activities
during Zakat Campaign 2024.
 Overall, the idea is for volunteers crafting their narratives and sharing their journey of giving back through their volunteer work.
 They must share the reels on social media platforms using hashtags #VolunteerForSKMCH #ShaukatKhanumTigers #SKMCH

6. The Ultimate Joy: Lighting up Lives Together

• Volunteers are required to share the Fitrana appeal of Shaukat Khanum Hospital across various social media platforms.
• Each volunteer must disseminate the message on a minimum of four different social media platforms.
• After 24 hours, volunteers are required to share screenshots of their posts with their team lead to complete the activity task.
• Volunteers have the flexibility to either share SKMCH Fitrana Appeal posts or create original content such as videos, posts, or blogs to
convey the message.
• They must use hashtags #VolunteerForSKMCH #ShaukatKhanumTigers #SKMCH #VolunteerOpportunity
