The UK National Annex has restricted the wheel size equal to LM1, i.e. a square of
sides equal to 0.4m.

Additional amplification factor, ∆φfat, must be taken into account for any cross-section within
6m from the expansion joint (Cl. 4.3.3(3) and Cl. 4.6.1(6) of BS EN 1991-2).
