Leading Africa Scholarship to attend the One Young World Summit 2024.

The eligibility criteria

• National Passport
• Ages between 18-30
• Track records of generating impactful and innovative ideas
• Evidence and commitment to deliver positive change
• Demonstrative capacity for leadership
• Addressing keys in your work (Local or global)

The strongest applicants will be shortlisted by mid-May 2024. You

will be conducted individually by a member of the One Young
World team if you have been shortlisted.

Note:

❖ The one young team will consider applications from those who are
older than 30, pending demonstration of appropriate personal impact,
initiative, and willingness to engage. No acceptance for any
application from those who are under 18 at the time of the Summit.

❖ Priority will be given to applicants from countries that have been less
represented at previous Summits as well as first-time summit
attendees.

The fund amount:

The Scholarship provides

✓ Access to One Young Summit 2024 in Montréal Canada

✓ Hotel Accommodation between 17 and 21 September 2024
✓ Catering which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
✓ The cost of travel to and from Montréal. Your flight to and from
Montréal must depart from one and the same international airport .

Meet and criteria and able to answer Application questions well.

How we can engage other students on this?

We can engage other students to apply by :

i. Creating an environment for students to meet criteria, especially

passport. We can organize with the immigration office to conduct the
process immediately after the holiday.

ii. One of the areas of consideration to be selected is strong application.

MPR’s Connect we will create technical support for those who will
need guidance on how to write a strong application.

iii. To create awareness to all campuses of TIA - Tanzania and appoint

two or more ambassadors for each Campus who will make sure at
least twenty-five students from each campus applied

iv. To organize an online session on how to apply it, and the importance
of applying program like this.
