CREATE FONT TYPEFACE (CFT) PRESENTATION

Identify and analyse typefaces from past and presents in sense of style, form, and historical content.

BRIEF
From the exploration in Assignment 1, where students have generated the comprehensive typeface
ideas. For Assignment 2, is to digitalize the comprehensive Font with vector graphic outcome. The
goal is to ensure that the design not only looks visually appealing but also functions effectively in digital
formats.

GUIDELINES
Develop a report that contains the relevant contents:
1. FONT NAME AND RATIONALE
• Name for the final font design and design rationale.
(In 100-150 words, describe the inspirations/theme/concept, design elements used and
characteristics of the font design using the correct terminology)
2. DEVELOPMENT PROCESS (screenshots)
• Show the process of creating the typeface digitally, from outline to colour, and techniques, used
in progressions. (8 to 10)
3. FINAL ARTWORK
• Size /Format: A3 size, 11.7 x 16.5-inch, Portraits /Landscapes depending on individual purpose.
• Resolution: 200 dpi only

SUBMISSION
Students are required to compile in the given template by the lecturer.

Report format: A4 size in PDF format


Artwork format: A3 size, 11.7 x 16.5-inch 200 dpi per resolution.

LATE SUBMISSION
Late submission of 1 - 3 days after deadline of submission: minus 10 marks
Late submission of 4 - 7 days after deadline of submission: minus 20 marks
Late submission more than 7 days after deadline of submission: 0 mark
Without proof/Disallowed late submission: 0 mark
