Day 1 Update: DOST-IX 1st iSTART Stakeholders' Consultation 🌟

🚀 "Breaking Ground in Innovation, Science, and Technology for Accelerating Regional-based Development

(iSTART) Program" 🚀

The Department of Science and Technology Region No. IX conducted its 1st iSTART Stakeholders'
Consultation in Dipolog City. The activity was facilitated by DOST-Caraga who is the lead implementer of
the said program. Representatives from various LGU partners, PLGUs, national government agencies
(NGAs), academic institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and private sectors came
together, bridging the gaps to harness Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) for the development and
advancement of targeted areas. A powerful convergence of minds, ideas, and innovation in the pursuit
of a brighter future!

iSTART is a platform for the strategic alignment of the DOST technology transfer programs and projects,
engagement of RSEs, and conduct of R&D needed to create or improve MSMEs in support of the
development of the countryside.
