 Besides service kits, single spare parts are also available.
 Such as repair kits, gasket and O-ring kits, vacuum pumps, blowers, butterfly valves, and
silencers for various applications.

 12-month maintenance kits include 1 x control air filter, 3 or 6 pilot valves, silencer. Filter elements for pre- and after filters
and pressure dew point sensore must be also replaced after 12 month. They are not included in the service kits and must be
ordered separately.
 24-month maintenance kits include all parts of the 12-month maintenance kits , rep. kit expansion valve, rep. kit
pressurisation valve.
 36-month maintenance = 12-month maintenance
 48-month maintenance kits include all parts of the 24-month mainenance kits, rep. kit flap valve V3, non-return flap valve.
For a complete maintenance the desiccant must be replaced. The recommended replacement inteval for this is 4 years, but
is usually carried out as part of a TÜV inspection (every 5 years). Desiccant packages must be ordered separately.

The number of pilot valves varies according to the size and design of the dryer.
The pilot valves are uncluded in each 12, 24 and 48 month service kit according to
the number indicated below::

 If the dryer is equipped with a steam heat exchanger for regeneration air
heating, 1 pilot valve SP-VPS3/2F-HF04/024 must be ordered additionally.

 Pilot valves
replacemant every 12 months
When replacing the pilot valves, the choice of a screwdriver

of suitable size and shape plays a very important role to reduce
the risk of slipping and damaging screws.
 Press crosshead-screwdriver PZ0 firmly into the slots of the

screw and loosen the screws.
 Remove and dispose of pilot valves.
 Remove the new pilot valves from the service kit, insert them
in the designated places, push them in and tighten them with
the screws supplied.

dismounting the actuator
(function spring closes with medium flow)
1. Unscrew indicator pin (36 (orange)).

2. Insert mounting tool (4010 408 for actuator D50, 4010 409 for
actuator D80/D125) into bonnet and screw to nut (14).
3. Tighten the spring (10) a little bit by turning the mounting tool lever
until the sealing lifts off from the valve seat.
4. Unscrew actuator from body (1).
5. Remove circlip (25) using a suitable pair of tongues.
6. Release actuator spring (10) by turning the lever. Hold mounting
screw of mounting tool at the same time.
7. Remove mounting tool.

for actuator size 80 : M10x250

mounting the valve/exchange of packing
1. Clean all parts.

2. Push guide sleeves and packing into the head section (2). Take care for
the right order (see packing assembly next page). The conical seals (31)
have to be greased individually.
3. Put interior lip seal (20) and washer (7) into flange.
4. Screw head section (2) to flange (15) firmly. Do not clamp flange at its
outer diameter, as this is a sealing surface for the bonnet which might be
damaged then.
5. Screw piston rod (13) and piston (9) using nut (14).
6. Push piston rod (13) carefully into the head section (from the top).
7. Screw all disc parts to piston rod (13).
8. Insert O-ring into bonnet.
9. Mount exterior lip seal (11) to bonnet (9).
10. Put spring (10) on piston (9).
11. Mount bonnet (8).
12. Tighten spring with mounting tool until the circlip (25) can be mounted.
13. Insert circlip to bonnet (take care that the circlip has properly snapped to
its groove).
14. Screw actuator to valve body (1).

- The non-return flap valve should usually be
replaced every 4-5 years. It is included in the 48-
month kit.
 The non-return flap valve can also be ordered
separately if required.

 desiccant filling / -change

- change of desiccant should be done
every 4-5 years.
 Each desiccant package „SEDAFILL….” (see next page)
contents the right amount (or slightly more) for filling
of both vessels.
 Flow distributors are normally free or wear. If really
necessary they must be ordered separately.
