As a future teacher, wea are expected to prepare a lot of instructional materials for our

students, it is quite hard but interesting job to do, we must learn the different ways, strategies
and techniques that we can use to transfer information and ideas to our students and one of
this is making different instructional materials and learn how to prepare it.

Mrs. Jedith Fererras, a resource speaker of the seminar workshop discussed about the
selection and preparation of instructional materials. She also tackled the values and importance
of instructional materials. The instructional materials that the teacher prepared for their
students will help them to clarify important concepts that they are trying to learn, these
instructional materials also help to arouse and sustain students interest, to give students in a
class the opportunity to share experience necessary for new learning and make learning more
permanent. Instructional materials are special classroom tools which contain instructions,
information and ideas to learners and teachers which can improve there capability inside the
classroom.This instructional materials is a very helpful tools for the teachers and the learners
because it can be a source of activities for learners practice and communicative interaction and
a source of stimulation and ideas for classroom activities. There are some criteria that must
know for selection of instructional materials, first is the reliability, it should be a real objects
that the learnerscan relate, next is the relevance or appropriateness, it should be suited to the
age of the learners, next is the interest or suited to the interest of the students, next is
organization and balance, and lastly is the cost, teacher should consider the cost of
instructional materials, be a resourceful one. There is also a guiding factors in selection of
instructional materials the availability, affordability, suitability, simplicity, and qualitative, all of
these should a techer consider in preparing an instructional materials. There is also a problems
encountered on the selection of instructional materials the lack of fund, teachers attitude,
learners attitude and lack of facilities. The instructional materials also have benifits not only to
the learners but to the teachers also, it will guide the teachers on the methods and techniques
in introducing the lessons and the series of exercises for teaching the concepts, it also give
them more opportunity to make the best use of their time and skills to do more real teaching.

As future teacher in the near future we must providea different ways and techniques on how
we can transmit knowledge and information to our students and one of this strategies is to
provide them a different types of instructional materials that can help the students to what is
being taught should be perceive by learners as relevant and useful, and must be ready to
acquire the points being taught and the most important is, the instructional materials that a
teacher prepared should help the learners the develop confidence.
 Teachers are the one who facilitate the learning of the students inside the classroom, they
holds all numbers of the class responsible for their behavior, as goods teachers we should also
practice to have a good classroom management.

The resource speaker of the seminar-workshop Mr. Jesant Escober define the classroom
management as a incorporates the provision of procedures necessary to establish and
maintain an environment in which instruction and learning can occur, the provision of
environments that provide students security and rewards so that they can grow intellectually
and emotionally. It can be defined as the use of rules and procedures to maintain order so that
learning may result. Mr. Jesant Escober also discussed the importance of classroom
management. As future teacher we should also know why is it important to have a good
classroom management in ensuring students success and learning, and we should always
prepare for the unexpected situation that might occur inside the classroom anytime. I've
learned from Mr. Jesant the different solutions for the different situation and problems inside
the classroom. For unprepared students the teacher must provide study questions or study
guide as to be completed by class session, for inattentive students the teacher must move
around the classroom for proximity to inattentive students, for students reluctant to
participate teacher should use structured small groups or assign group roles and require group
processing, the solution for an argumentative or heated discussion is to use slow tempo of
voice and ask an open-minded questions, and for hostile and oppositional students, teacher
must meet privately with the student and respectfully ask him or her to moderate his or her
behavior.

I hope that as one of the future teacher of the 21st century I can apply all of these learnings
on hoemw to to have a good classroom management to provide also a progressive students in
the near future. Also, having a good classroom management will help me as a future teacher to
maintain the good relationship between me and my students, and it will help to instil the
knowledge and ideas to my students successfully.

Being a teacher is being also a student, they also learn a lot from their students. They share their
knowledge to their students and they also gain knowledge from their students, teachers also provide
policies and rules and regulation inside the classroom that the students should obey and follow, the
same as the student the teachers also have policies and rules and regulation that they need also to obey
and follow to maintain their good image in their profession.

The Magna Carta and Code of Ethics for Teachers as discussed by Mr. Jayson Encinares one of the
resource speaker of the seminar-workshop. He discussed the declaration of the Policy Coverage that
hereby declared to promote and improve the social and economic status of public school teacher, their
livinfand working conditions, their terms of employment and career prospects. He also discussed the
recruitment and career, it stated that no teacher may be transferred without his consent. Should their
be an urgent need or demand for transfer, the school superintendent must notify the teachers
beforehand and state the reasons. The teachers have also rights during disciplinary procedure. They
should have written notice, access to evidence, defense, time preparation and appeal. There is also a
required hours of work for teachers, the teachers are required not more than six hours a day. A
teachers also have a health measures and injury benefits according to magna carta such as free
compulsary medical examination, free medical treatment and/or hospitalization, reimbursement for
travelling expenses in regions there is scarcity of medical facilities. All of these is according to magna
carta and shouldbe observe in all professional teachers. Teachers should also obey and follow the code
of ethics for professional teachers that contains the scope and limitations, the teacher and the state, the
teacher and the community, the teacher and the profession, the teacher and the teaching community,
the teacher and higher authorities in the Philippines, the teacher and learners, the teacher and parents,
the teacher and business, and the teacher as a person.

Being also a future teacher I am also required to follow and obey all of these policies and rules and
regulations for professional teacher. I am a teachers because I know how to provide learnings for my
students in different way, I also know to follow those rules and regulation of a teacher. I can do my
duties and responsibilitiesas a teacher when I am confident and ready enough perform and share my
knowledge to my students to establish success.
