Place centre front (Cast-off edge) of pants, on central

part of cast on edge on main tea cosy and allow the
sides of the pants to go upwards so that the
waistband of the pants rests on the middle of the
cosy. Sew the gusset and waistband into place.

Cast on 48 sts using Citron and 4.00mm needles.

Row 1(RS): *K1, P1; rep from * to end.

Repeat last row four more times.

Row 6: Knit.

Break Citron and Join Matador.

Row 7: (SL1) twice, K1, (PSSO) twice, Knit to last 3sts,

K3tog. [44sts]
Row 8: P2tog, Purl to last 2sts, P2tog. [42sts]

Repeat the last 2 rows until 6sts remain.
