Tests Done UV Weathering and Tensile Strength (Before & After Exposure)

• Firstly, the samples were exposed to Accelerated Weathering for 200 Hrs. with 0.71w/m2
irradiance under the specified condition of UV & Condensation cycle as per the ASTM
G154.
• The effect is being measured by exposing test samples to varying conditions of the most
aggressive components of weathering - ultraviolet radiation, moisture, and heat. A QUV
test chamber uses fluorescent lamps to provide a radiation spectrum centered in the
ultraviolet wavelengths. Moisture is provided by forced condensation, and temperature

is controlled by heaters.
• Samples (both before & after exposure) were tested for retention in Breaking Strength.
