The resistance in an RCL circuit is 𝑅 = 40 ohms, the inductance is 𝐿 = 0.2 henrys, and the
capacitance is 10−5 farads. At 𝑡 = 0 a current of 2 amperes flows in the circuit. Assume the
initial charge on the capacitor is 1 coulomb and 𝐸(𝑡) = 0 for 𝑡 > 0. Determine the current
flowing in the circuit for 𝑡 > 0 in its simplest form.
