Daffy Duck Amigurumi – Free Pa!ern

Creating a Daffy Duck Amigurumi is a delightful project for those who enjoy crocheting and have a fondness for classic cartoon
characters. Daffy Duck, known for his quirky personality and distinct voice in the Looney Tunes series, makes for an amusing and
charming crochet project.
Key features of a Daffy Duck Amigurumi include his jet-black plumage, large orange beak, and expressive eyes, which are
essential to capture his animated character. The amigurumi should ideally reflect Daffy’s energetic and somewhat eccentric
personality, often portrayed with wide-open eyes and a dynamic posture.

The color scheme for Daffy Duck is relatively simple, primarily black for his body and orange for his beak and webbed feet. His
long neck and the shape of his head are important details to get right for a recognizable representation. Crocheters can add
personality to their amigurumi by playing with facial expressions and poses, making their Daffy Duck unique.

Assembly:

Fill the head and body with fiberfill. Check the firmness and adjust as necessary.

Position the white parts of the eyes on either side of the head, aligning them symmetrically, and sew them in place.

Insert the safety eyes between the 7th and 8th rounds of the head, with approximately 6 stitches between them.

Sew the beak centered below the eyes between the 8th and 9th rounds.

Attach the feet to the bottom front of the body, ensuring they are symmetrical.

For the hair, cut yarn into 2-inch strands, loop them through the stitches on top of the head, and secure. Trim to create a
messy, spiky look.

This pattern provides a more detailed and structured approach to creating each part of the amigurumi. As you work, adjust the
pattern as needed to match the image’s proportions, and always count your stitches for accuracy. Enjoy your crochet journey!
