Storage Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, manage and maintain storage and backup solutions
• Leads and participate in installation and configuration activities of storage and backup
systems.

current usage of LUN, Storage pools, Aggregate and volume utilization.

folders in CIFS.
● Assigning LUN's (FC and ISCSI) to distributed server Planning SAN/NAS space Provisioning,
Allocation, De-Allocation, Storage expansion as per client requirement.

and have good working knowledge on zoning and troubleshooting part on switches.
● Storage / Servers daily checks critical Events Storage & Server performance monitoring

● End to end monitoring of Storage Infra (BPPM BEM) as well as Incident and change
management via Service Now and BMC Tools.

Backup Administration Tasks And Responsibilities:

● Health check, Installation, Manage, troubleshoot issues with Master and Media servers,
NetBackup Software v7.6, EMC Networker (8.x, 9.x), Tape Libraries, EMC Data Domain.
● Configuration of Policies, Tape libraries, dd boost, data domain and Robot.
● Troubleshooting on all backup failures by analyzing the backup logs.

Tape Ejects, stuck tape removal, cleaning etc.
● Monitor and restart Data collection thru OpsCenter and fetching weekly, daily and Monthly
reports from OpsCenter.
● Doing Media/Tape Rotation as per the requirement of the infrastructure.
● Worked as on-call coverage and/or serve as a point of escalation.
● Handle escalated technical issues related to restores.
● Worked on vCenter to perform snapshot, perform Validation on VMs.

• Created a Daily health check script for Storage using PowerShell
