We consider any medical or physical conditions, symptoms or circumstances which You are aware of, or a
reasonable person in Your circumstances ought to have been aware of, prior to Your Start Date of Insurance

How to Apply
You can buy a TravelCare Policy online at www.scti.co.nz or over the
phone. A requirement of this Policy is that You must have access to
a valid email address in order for SCTI to communicate with You on
all matters relating to Your Policy, and a New Zealand bank account
to receive any claim payment relating to Your Policy. Please refer to
general condition 7 (page 8).
If We accept Your application for insurance, We provide confirmation
of this by emailing You:
• a copy of Our PDS, including Policy Wording; and
• Your Certificate of Insurance, which sets out details of Your Policy
including Your premium, the Policy and plan type, Your Start Date
of Insurance, End Date of Insurance, and any conditions applying
to Your Policy; and
• if applicable, written confirmation of cover for specified items and/
or Covered Conditions.
Together, these documents set out the terms and conditions of Your
Policy.
