As the teacher you can choose to demonstrate and practise the sounds with your class, or you can play or
download the file from the website. You can also scan the QR code using a mobile device. Play the audio once,
and again if students request it. Make sure that students are making the correct sounds.
3. Th sounds in words
Play the audio by scanning the QR code or play or download the file from the worksheet page on the website.
Pause it at the appropriate moments if students need more time to write down their answers. Play it once for
students to do the exercise, then again for them to check their answers. As an extra activity, students can practise
saying the words out loud after they have listened to the audio.
4. Th in context
Students can work in pairs and then check with the teacher.
5. Practice
Students work in pairs. Monitor the activity and help them if necessary. Make a note of any typical errors.
