Song Eleven (十一下り目 Juichi Kudari-me) is one of the Twelve Songs of the Mikagura-uta. It is said to have been composed by Mikagura-uta
Oyasama in 1867. There was a time when it was referred as "Chapter Eleven" in English.

First, At Shoyashiki in the homeland of the Sun, hitotsu hi no moto Shoyashiki no 一ツ ひのもとしよやしきの

The Jiba, the abode of God, is to be かみのやかたのぢばさ The Service


Kami no yakata no Jiba sadame
identified. だめ Sections One, Two, and Three
Songs for the Kagura
Husband and wife working together in ふうふそろうてひのき Section Four
Second, futatsu fūfu sorōte hinokishin 二ツ Yorozuyo
hinokishin; しん Section Five

これがだいゝちものだ (Twelve Songs)

Fifth, Forever continues the carrying of earth. itsutsu 五ツ

Sixth, Do not unreasonably stop anyone! muttsu muri ni tomeru ya nai hodo ni 六ツ

I welcome any and everyone who is willing. kokoro aru nara tare narito

Seventh, How remarkable this carrying of earth is, nanatsu 七ツ

When it serves as a contribution to God! kore ga kishin to naru naraba

Eighth, Digging up the earth of the Residence, yattsu yashiki no tsuchi o hori torite 八ツ

ところかへるばかりや
You just carry it from one place to another. tokoro kaeru bakari yade

Until this time, no one has ever understood このたびまではいちれ


Ninth, kokonotsu kono tabi made wa ichiretsu ni 九ツ
My heart; つに
むねがわからんざんね
How regretful it is! mune ga wakaran zannen na

Finally, This year, without fertilizing, tōdo kotoshi wa koe okazu 十ド ことしハこえおかず
