Q1. While most Asian people are familiar with Confucianism's ideals, why do we
struggle to implement them to achieve a 'harmonious society'?

Ans : Humans are born in selfish. Though understanding that adherence to Confucian
principles of benevolence, justice, propriety, and wisdom could lead to societal
harmony, our actions are often motivated by own benefit. The more this
individualistic attitude prevails, the less people perceive it as a negative idea and
follow their lead instead.

Q2. Why is it that works of language (such as Shakespeare’s plays) have passed
across centuries?

Ans : Because through language, we can know the thoughts of ancient peoples and
understand the significance of these works to them. That is also the key value of
Shakespeare’s plays.
