To begin with if we look at the world today, there are millions of cultures
centered everywhere. With this much cultures in the world, everyone is bound
to believe that they’re all different. Even though they are different in some
aspects, all of them are similar to each other in some way. So if this is the case,
do we as human beings have the right to judge these cultures as ethically
wrong or just a cultural difference?
The belief that we cannot judge the cultural practices of other societies and
that we should let them do as they please. But if we cannot judge them, does it
make it right when they threaten the lives of others? we begin to have a deeper
insight this idea of show more content. One of those rights is the right to
freedom of thought,
Which means that every human being has the right to believe in what they
want to believe. As a result, no person should judge other beliefs because
they’ll just influence others to do the same. In the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights, article 18 states that, everyone has the right to freedom of
thought, conscience and religion, and that the right includes, freedom to
change his religion. Either alone or in a community. Through this right,
everyone can believe what they want we have no right to judge. If we judge
them, then we ourselves infringe on everyone’s right to be equal.
Everyone has their own Cultural events and Festivals, in each Countries
The way we believe things are meant to be without creating conflict if others
have different views because everyone is right depending on their beliefs. Our
beliefs depend on our past experiences, assumptions, and the principles we
were taught to be true. The purpose of relativism is for there to be no
judgement on who’s right or wrong and accept that everyone has different
morals and accepting everyone’s opinion. In relativism there is no objective
things because relativism is influenced by our personal perspective only and
believing what is true for you is correct. There are several subcategories in
relativism one that is common is epistemological relativism which describes the
knowledge of what we believe by making all of our beliefs true and how to prove
their validity.
In our current lives everyone has their own moments, In fact in our era has a
lot of changes especially to the people during pandemic and so on, in the era
2023 a lot has added, like discriminating gays rights, teenage pregnancy and
other complicated. but here in my country cultural is the most important here,
festivals, simple occasion, in the moment were people is happy with small
gatherings, efforts and so on, with having Cultural Relativism in the present
anything is possible without discriminating other Culture.
