RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN (SB)

MEMBERS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF DUMALAG, CAPIZ TO EXTEND
FINANCIAL AND OTHER FORMS OF SUPPORT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
THE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING CURRICULAR PROGRAM
(STE-CP) OF CONCEPCION CASTRO GARCIA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

WHEREAS, Concepcion Castro Garcia National High School is one of the

organized and developed institutions in the Schools Division of Capiz with a population
of Seven Hundred Fifty Four (754) students this School Year 2022-2023;

WHEREAS, the Schools Division of Capiz is encouraging all National High

Schools to put-up programs and projects that will provide a learning environment to
the gifted and talented students and recognize their multiple intelligences, ecological
awareness and orientation to technology;

WHEREAS, the Science, Technology and Engineering - Curricular

Program (STE-CP) will provide opportunities for the development of scientific
attitudes, technological skills and higher order thinking skills among learners;

WHEREAS, the Science, Technology and Engineering - Curricular

Program (STE-CP) is beneficial to cater the needs of our advance learners and to
further enhance the standard of education in the Municipality;

WHEREAS, the School is ready for the aforementioned project considering its
battery of competent teachers and additional facilities which are in line with the
program;

WHEREAS, the School believes that a certain worthwhile proposal can be acted
positively if there is a concerted effort of faculty, staff, students, parents, community
and the municipal government;

WHEREAS, we adhere that “the state should promote and protect the rights of
all citizens to quality basic education and to make such education accessible to all by
providing all Filipinos free and compulsory education in the elementary and secondary
levels;”

WHEREAS, the Municipal School Board should support the STE-CP as mandated
in R.A. 5447 specifying that “The Special Education Fund was created to provide
additional financial support exclusively for public schools;”
 WHEREAS, in the duly assembled Consultative and Advocacy Meeting
conducted for this purpose, the Barangay Officials, PTA Officials, the Faculty Members
and Supreme Student Government (SSG) have decided to request the SB Members of
the Municipality of Dumalag to extend financial and other forms of support for the
establishment of the said Science, Technology and Engineering - Curricular
Program (STE-CP);

THEREFORE, by the unanimous decision of the Barangay Officials, PTA Officials,

Faculty Members and Supreme Student Government Officers of this school, present in
the duly assembled meeting, BE IT:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that the Sangguniang Bayan (SB)

Members of Dumalag is requested to pass a resolution of support for the establishment
of Science, Technology and Engineering - Curricular Program (STE-CP) at
Concepcion Castro Garcia National High School;

RESOLVED FURTHER that copy/copies of this resolution be furnished to the

Sangguniang Bayan Members Office for information and favorable action;

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED and ADOPTED this 9th day of August, 2023 at

Concepcion Castro Garcia National High School, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Dumalag,
Capiz.

our gifted learners in the field of Science and Technology and to harness their
potentials. It is also to cater to learners who have inclination in technological
advancement.

thrusts and program through a resolution manifesting support of the Local Government
Unit to the initiative of offering Science, Technology and Engineering - Curricular
