MASJID The Golden Mosque, Amid Manila’s bustling streets stand
Metro Manila the Golden Mosque, easily
recognisable as the largest mosque in
Metro Manila. Adorned with a gold
dome and stained glass,
the masjid stands out even from
across the Pasig River. Formerly, the
mosque even had a minaret and a
fountain that added to its grandeur.
Today, the administrators await the
rehabilitation of the structure.
MARKET Divisoria Market, Tondo, is a commercial center in the districts
(PALENGKE) Binondo of Tondo, Binondo, and San
Nicolas in Manila, Philippines known
for its shops that sell low-priced
goods and its diverse manufacturing
activities. The area is riddled with
different bazaars, bargain malls, and

was founded in 1925 by the first
registered Filipino architect, Tomás
Mapúa, a graduate of Cornell
University in New York, US.
BRIDGE (TULAY) Marcelo Fernan Bridge, also known as Second Cebu–Mactan
Mactan, Cebu Bridge and the Second Bridge
locally, is an extradosed cable-stayed
bridge located in Metro Cebu in the
Philippines. It crosses Mactan
Channel connecting Mandaue in
mainland Cebu to Lapu-Lapu City in
Mactan Island.
