1. Warning
1.1 The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage, injuries or accidents arising from inattentiveness, bed,
negligent or erroneous handing.
1.2 The manufacturer, seller or trained person shall perform the basic instructions for handling the bed.
1.3 The safety features for operating the bed and the instructions concerning the bed handling must be strictly
observed. Means of delivery
1.4 The bed is supplied neither disassembled nor with foot and head ends, side rail package separately requiring
installation on.
1.5 According to the delivery note an inspection must take place on site to make sure the entire delivery is complete. Any
faults or damage must be immediately reported to the carrier and the supplier in writing. When traveling with the bed,
loading and unloading it , care must be taken that the bed brakes are unlocked. The bed castors are designed for use in
an indoor environment and for travel on even, smooth and clean floors (ceramic floor tiles, linoleum, cast floors and the
like). The castors may become damaged when traveling with the bed along a rough, uneven or dirty surface.
Safety instructions
1.6 Before using the bed, you must read the manual and handle the bed in accordance with it.
1.7 The bed may not be used if faults have been detected on it that may injure the patient, staff or a third person, the bed
or the surrounding interior
1.8 The bed may only be handled by persons who, by their knowledge or practical experience, provide a guarantee
that the bed shall be handled without any problems
1.9 The operating staff should acquaint the patient with the control functions that are designed for the patient.
1.10 The user(operator) should , before using the bed, be comfortable with the functionality and faultlessness of the bed
1.11 The bed may not be overloaded even for b brief period
1.12 If there is a patient on the bed, the castors must be locked (with the exception of when traveling with the bed) – an
unlocked bed poses a risk of injury to the patient when leaving the bed or when supporting himself
1.13 The height of the mattress platform must be adjusted to the height and condition of the patient
1.14 No other people may sit on the bed
1.15 When handling the mobile parts of the bed, care must be taken that the patient, other people or objects do not get
trapped during its movement
1.16 If a lifting pole or infusion stand is fixed to the bed during movement, lifting or tipping, increased attention
must be taken to the space around the lifting pole and infusion stand so the equipment does not get damaged
1.17 Before cleaning or maintaining the bed, the supply cable must be disconnected from the mains
1.18 The bed may not be used where there is a danger of explosion or in the presence of inflammable liquids
1.19 When repairing the bed, only original materials and components may be used; when manufacturer does not
guarantee against any damage that can occur
1.20 When maintaining and cleaning the bed in the space between the undercarriage and mattress platform, the
adjustment functions on the central control panel must be blocked so there is no accident due to any unintentional activation
of the foot switches and subsequent downward movement of mattress platform
1.21 When transporting the bed, the mains cable must be suspended with the aid of a plastic hook on the bed end
or other safe place to prevent the cable from being run over and damaged
1.22 An inspection should be made at least once a month for wear of all mobile parts. The doctor treating the patient or

another responsible person providing treatment decides about the use of the handrails for supporting the patient when
leaving the bed.

2. Usage and attention

(1) the working condition for the medical electric bed.

(1) Usage
①electric manipulation
a. before manipulating, you should first check the power: single-phase 120V, 60Hz A.C., the outlet is 2-hole one.
b. with the power on Make sure the plug and the outlet is tight.
c. electric manipulation of the medical electric bed
Use the handle-control button to control, the handle-control manipulator is open wide close type with slight touch switch
box.
Use your finger to press the button; the corresponding move of the bed can be achieved. Loose the button the move stop
immediately.

The bed has four castors.Two of them have brakes, trample the brake can lock the castor, so the bed can be steady. Raise
the brake can release the castor, so the bed can be moved.
(2) attention
a. wet hand touch the power is prohibited
b. when the electricity is on, make sure the plug and the outlet is tight.
c. The electric machineries have been debugged and installed properly when the medical electric bed ex-works. When
operating the user can’t change the original state of the electric machinery system at his own choice including the plug
and the outlet of the control box, in case causing the misconnect, lose or accident. When the electric system
breakdown, a certificated electrician is needed to dispose or you can call us for help.
d. Use the handle-control manipulator with caution, you can only press one button each time. Press two or more button
is not allowed to avoid destroying the electric element.
e. Keep the handle-control manipulator clean, use your finger flesh to press, nail or other sharp thing is not allowed to
press the button, meanwhile, avoid falling onto the floor, crash, being trampled , scraped or pressed heavily. when you
don’t use you should put it on the rail of the bed or other proper place.
f. You should especially protect the power wire and the control wire to avoid destroying the insulation coat or breaking
the wire.
g. Check whether the plug is loosen or whether the wire and handle-control is accidentally broken, when this happen,
please cope with or change in time.
h. When change the position of the patient(including patient himself), one must follow the doctor or the nurse’s
instruction so as to not cause injury to the patient.
i. When operating the bed, the patient need to keep a certain distance from the edge of the bed so as to not be clipped;
when the patient on his chest(with his back upside), the back fold button mustn’t used to avoid injury to the patient.
j. Avoid moving the bed on the inflate or extra-loose floor, when inevitable, you need slow down the moving speed.
k. When not use, cut off the power(with the plug out of the outlet)

3. maintenance and repair
(1) Electric element maintenance
a. keep the element clean and dry, avoid mechanism damage.
b. check whether the element is accidentally broken, whether the wire is crack and whether the plug is loose, if these happen,
please dispose or change.
(2) Electric element repair
change fuse: When change the fuse, take apart the four screw nail form the control box. Remove the up cover and the
middle cover, you can see the fuse and change them.
