thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ.
 Cách dùng 2: Thì quá khứ đơn được dùng để diễn tả thói quen hay hành động lặp đi
lặp lại trong quá khứ.
 Cách dùng 3: Thì quá khứ đơn được dùng để diễn tả một sự thật trong quá khứ.
 Cách dùng 4: Thì quá khứ đơn được dùng để diễn tả chuỗi hành động xảy ra liên tiếp
trong quá khứ.
