Hello, Learners! Most of you have already encountered different people with different
personalities. Now, let’s also discover yourself and the people around you and their
unique identities. Are you ready?

In this Learning Activity Sheet (LAS), you will understand how literature serves as a
tool in asserting one’s identity. It will help you recognize one’s identity to relate with all
types of people. Moreover, understanding, accepting, and valuing diverse
backgrounds can help young people and adults thrive in this ever-changing society.

literary skills as you go on through this journey.
