Mission Statement
As a professional educator I strive to act in accordance with the model code of ethics for educators while
maintaining the expected professional dispositions. I operate my classroom with high expectations and believe
all students are capable of success with the proper guidance and tools. It is my goal to shape students into
lifelong learners through an engaging student-first learning experience that incorporates educational technology,
real world examples, and inter-disciplinary learning.

2022-2024: Grand Canyon University – Master of Education in Secondary Education

Work Experience
2022-Current: Short Term Substitute Teaching, Washoe County School District

Drop in substitute teaching for a variety of demographics in the Washoe county school district.

2024-Current: Student Teaching/ Co-teaching Biology, Proctor R. Hug Highschool

Providing instruction to classes of 20-30 students in Biology. Classroom demographics include high
percentage of English Learners and students with special needs. Responsibilities included, lesson
planning/implementation, curriculum planning, classroom management, and conducting student assessments.

2024-Current: On – Call Biology Tutor, Proctor R. Hug Highschool
