COURSE DESCRIPTION
Assessment for Student Learning is a comprehensive course designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills
necessary to effectively assess student progress and understanding across various educational contexts. Through a
blend of theoretical frameworks and practical applications, participants will explore a range of assessment strategies,
including formative and summative assessments, authentic assessments, and performance-based assessments.
Emphasis will be placed on aligning assessments with learning objectives, utilizing diverse assessment methods to
cater to different learning styles, and employing technology to enhance assessment practices.
