The following warranty statement is for transmissions purchased by

Participating OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and by
Allison Transmission Distributor / Dealers. The term Participating
means that the OEM participates in the warranty coverage provided
by Allison Transmission and utilizes Allison Transmission authorized
Distributor / Dealer network for warranty repairs.

In the event that an OEM is a Non-Participating OEM then the OEM

provides the warranty to the customer by utilizing their own network
for warranty repairs.

Please refer to your vehicle’s operator / owner’s manual and or selling

vehicle dealer for powertrain coverage.

WARRANTY ON NEW ALLISON TRANSMISSIONS USED IN OFF-HIGHWAY AND

INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
Allison Transmission warrants to the owner of each new Allison transmission (listed in chart below) used in an off-highway or industrial
application that it will repair any defective or malfunctioning part of the transmission in accordance with the following schedule:

The warranty period shall begin on the date the transmission is delivered to the first retail purchaser or, if the transmission is first placed in
service as a demonstrator prior to sale at retail, on the date the transmission is first placed in such service.
This warranty covers only malfunctions resulting from defects in material or workmanship.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

h Malfunctions resulting from unapproved installations, misuse, negligence, alterations, accident, or lack of performance of normal
maintenance services;
h Any transmission which shall have been repaired by other than an authorized Allison Transmission service outlet so as in any way, in the
judgment of Allison Transmission , to affect adversely its performance and reliability;
h The replacement of maintenance items (such as filters, screens, and transmission fluid) made in connection with normal maintenance
services;
h Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of the use of the vehicle, or other consequential damages.

The owner is responsible for the performance of regular maintenance services as specified in the Operator’s Manual applicable to the
transmission.
Repairs qualifying under this warranty will be performed, without charge, by any Allison Transmission Distributor or his specifically
designated Service Dealer within a reasonable time.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THE ALLISON TRANSMISSION MODELS LISTED
ABOVE AND IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALLISON
TRANSMISSION DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PERSON TO CREATE FOR IT ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY
IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH TRANSMISSIONS. ALLISON TRANSMISSION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY.
