Subject: DRESS CODE POLICY

Date: 15 APRIL 2024

The college administration is delighted to announce changes to the dress code regulation that
permit Montenegro University students to wear civilian clothes on campus. These changes align
with our commitment to fostering a positive and diverse environment.

Policy Overview:

● Flexibility: Students have the freedom to wear comfortable attire, which provides an
opportunity to express themselves.

● Respect and Responsibility: It is essential that a student dress in a manner that respects
oneself and others, which maintains professional standards and makes a beneficial
improvement to the learning environment.

● Guidelines:Although civilian attire is now permitted under the dress code regulation,
there are still a few guidelines to be observed to guarantee appropriateness and respect:

➢ Attire has to be well-maintained, neat, tidy, and clean.

➢ Clothing with offensive language, imagery, or themes is prohibited.
➢ Revealing or overly provocative attire should be avoided.
With immediate impact, the updated dress code allows students to show their personal style
while following the guidelines established. Although the policy allows for students to have the
freedom to choose their own dress code, they are still reminded of their need to dress in a manner
that is pleasant and appropriate. If a student ignores the dress code policy, they will face
disciplinary action as outlined in the college's code of guidelines.

The decision to allow students to wear civilian clothes on campus demonstrates our dedication to
establishing a welcoming and student-focused atmosphere. We have believed that students will
handle this opportunity responsibly and recognize the value of maintaining a balance between
the freedom to express oneself and one's respect for others.

Thank you for your cooperation in upholding the values of our college community.

Sincerely,

Susaya, Maisie Aisle M.
