Warm-up Watch the video “THE BIG SWIM” (page 88: step 1).

Context Currently, we consume much more than what our planet can
provide. We must learn how to use and produce in sustainable
ways that will reverse the harm we have inflected on the
planet.

El Calamot Secondary School is preparing a campaign to raise

awareness on how important it is to be a responsible
consumer.

The headteacher of our High School has sent an email to all 2 nd

Batxillerat students to ask them to actively participate in
promoting responsible consumption and production.

Challenge What can we do to be responsible consumers?

Description Prepare an oral presentation to raise awareness on the

importance of being a responsible consumer. Your
campaign must answer the question: “What can we do to be
responsible consumers?”

Use any visual aids that you think will be useful to help
spread the message. You can use slide presentations (Power
Point, Canva, Prezi…), infographics, posters, written proposals,
images… to make your campaign more appealing.

Note: you can work on your own, in pairs, groups of 3 or groups of 4 (maximum).
Each person must talk for about 2 minutes (make sure you don’t talk for more than 3
minutes or less than 1 minute and a half). Share your video with:
eva.marti@ieselcalamot.com. Not making it visible -if applicable- within the deadline will
be assessed as ‘undelivered’.

Deadline: Monday, 8th April 2024.

Delayed delivery: one more week is given to those students who do not hand in the assignment
on time. If you hand it in any time during the extra week -up to 15 th April-, the maximum mark
you can get is 5 out of 10. After the extra week, it will not be possible to hand it in.
